The Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI) was founded in south Florida in 1972 to help teens better understand Israel's living history by using the country as its classroom. This innovative program revolutionized the way Israel was taught and rapidly spread to other communities. AMHSI, the umbrella organization, was created in 2003 to encompass the many additional programs the organization now provides, including Day School Partnerships, community-based Israel Educator-in-Residence programs, customized adult trips, and Educator Training Seminars. Over 33 years of academic excellence later, AMHSI has over 18,000 alumni across the country.

Founded in 1909, Young Judaea is the oldest Zionist youth movement in the United States. Dedicated to instilling Jewish values, Jewish pride and a lifelong commitment to Israel, Young Judaea challenges Jewish youth through clubs, conventions, camps, Israel programs and university campus events to become involved in social and educational activities that develop and sharpen their senses of Jewish and Zionist identity.

As a pluralistic movement, Young Judaea has brought together generations of young Jews from a rich variety of religious, cultural and political backgrounds, underscoring the beauty, power and diversity of American Jewish life. Young Judaea reaches out to all Jewish youth-Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist and unaffiliated--and provides opportunities for them to explore their Jewishness and to develop a lasting identification with Zionism. (Kashrut, Shabbat and Jewish holidays are observed throughout all Young Judaea programs and activities.)
