The Senior Educators Program offers a select group of Jewish educators, from both the formal and informal sectors from all over the world, a unique opportunity for professional development and personal enrichment at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This 10 month in-service training program, conducted in Hebrew, takes place at the Melton Centre for Jewish Education. Participants explore new approaches in Jewish education, probe critical issues in educational thought, reflect upon their own work and professional goals, and develop skills and resources that they bring home to their communities. Each educator also works on a personal project with an academic mentor. They receive generous scholarships for travel, study and living expenses, and academic course credits from the Hebrew University are transferable to universities around the world. The program is funded by the Jewish Agency, the Mandel Foundation and the Myers Foundation.

The Jewish Genetic Disease Consortium (JGDC) was created as a means by which a number of smaller, individual organizations could join together to heighten awareness of Jewish genetic diseases with a strong and unified voice. Our strength lies in our ability to pull together resources and experience to best reach our target audience-medical professionals, rabbis, and the Ashkenazi Jewish population at large. United, we are better equipped to educate this audience about the existence of carrier screening which will ultimately prevent the birth of affected children. Our goal is to someday disband as the tragic diseases we face today are eliminated.

Founded in 1909, Young Judaea is the oldest Zionist youth movement in the United States. Dedicated to instilling Jewish values, Jewish pride and a lifelong commitment to Israel, Young Judaea challenges Jewish youth through clubs, conventions, camps, Israel programs and university campus events to become involved in social and educational activities that develop and sharpen their senses of Jewish and Zionist identity.

As a pluralistic movement, Young Judaea has brought together generations of young Jews from a rich variety of religious, cultural and political backgrounds, underscoring the beauty, power and diversity of American Jewish life. Young Judaea reaches out to all Jewish youth-Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist and unaffiliated--and provides opportunities for them to explore their Jewishness and to develop a lasting identification with Zionism. (Kashrut, Shabbat and Jewish holidays are observed throughout all Young Judaea programs and activities.)
