We are pleased to announce the inauguration of the RAVSAK Small School Professional Development Scholarship. This scholarship will make the training, networking and professional development opportunities of the RAVSAK Annual Leadership Conference accessible to educators from small Jewish day schools and small Jewish communities across North America.

The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle (JDS), the oldest and largest Jewish community day school in the Pacific Northwest, currently has 265 students enrolled in Preschool through 8th grade. JDS is located 20 minutes from downtown Seattle on a seven acre campus in Bellevue, Washington. The school has recently created a nearly $4 million endowment and has just completed a $15 million capital campaign which resulted in numerous campus enhancements and additions including a state of the art athletic center. JDS offers an excellent administrative team, dedicated and experienced faculty and staff, and a committed Board of Trustees. The school is seeking a Head of School candidate who will provide strong leadership, has the ability to delegate and mentor and is a skilled communicator.
